I'm Sherry A. Walker — better known as Mrs. Sherrie. I use storytelling, stand-up, and lived testimony to help women and teenage girls find their way to healing, freedom, and a deeper kind of joy.
For years I've been building a platform through speaking, writing, and showing up for my community. What makes this work different is that I don't speak from theory — I speak from the other side of survival. I know what it's like to rebuild, to forgive, to laugh again, and to trust God in the middle of hard things.
Whether I'm on stage at a women's conference, a youth night at church, or a community program for domestic violence survivors, my mission is the same: speak truth, bring joy, point to healing.
Whether you need a speaker, a comedian, or a book that meets someone where they are — I show up with the same heart.
Women's conferences, church services, youth gatherings, and community programs. I bring a message of healing, faith, and empowerment that lands with women and teenage girls alike.
Book me to speakClean, honest, from-the-gut comedy rooted in real life. Perfect for women's events, ladies' nights out, church banquets, and any room that needs permission to laugh again.
Bring me to your stagePublished work and domestic violence advocacy that walk with survivors through healing. Built for women who want more than a pep talk — they want to be seen.

My book is a walk through the real parts of my story — the hurt, the humor, the healing — written for every woman who needs to know she's not alone, and every young girl who's trying to figure out who she is on the other side of something hard.
Walking through a season of healing, rebuilding, and becoming.
Finding their identity, voice, and worth in a noisy world.
Ministries looking for a speaker who brings truth with warmth and wit.
Conferences, banquets, and community programs ready for something real.
A memoir about getting free in your mind from everything you've endured — and learning to believe God really meant what He said.
Sherry Walker's testimony and journey toward freedom from everything she endured — including mental abuse, self-inflicted pain, losing her daddy, and the sin in her life before Christ.
Come along on a tumultuous journey to accepting herself and loving herself in spite of it. Her prayer: that her story will help the woman dealing with a tortured mind get free and live the kind of life God has for her.
For a long time, the torture wasn't from what happened to her — it was from her own mind holding her hostage. She couldn't let go. She couldn't get past it. She tried to cover the pain by creating a false image of a perfect life she couldn't afford, and it cost her.
Then she met the love, forgiveness, and grace Jesus died to give her. This book walks you through the whole thing — the breaking, the believing, and the becoming — so you can know for yourself that there really is no condemnation for those who are in Christ.
From church conferences to community rooms — real words from women and leaders who've been in the room when Mrs. Sherrie takes the mic.
What I like about the book is that it is true testimony. She is a phenomenal person to put her life experience out there for everyone to read. God had her to write this book to help others who do not realize that they are in the same situation and how to get out. A must read book. Hallelujah.
This book is riveting. The author allows herself to be used by the Most High God, divulging personal details of her past to help free her readers from bondage. Thank you so much Sherry for your obedience and caring for God's children.
This book is definitely a must have. Powerful, spiritual, educational, heartwarming and deep learning. Recommended to all ages, cultures and religions. God works in mysterious ways. I guarantee this book will help others.
God didn't waste any of it. Every tear, every laugh, every lesson — all of it was preparing me to stand in front of women and tell the truth.
